REMODELING REFUSE must be disposed of privately. Wood/Lumber will only be picked up if it is no longer than four (4) feet and a bundle of wood weighs no more than 50 to 60 pounds. Each bundle requires one (1) GREEN STICKER.
GREEN STICKERS CANNOT BE USED FOR APPLIANCES!
CURBSIDE PICKUP OF APPLIANCES requires a pre-paid $15.00 fee which is paid at the City Hall Finance Counter on the top floor of City Hall. Schedule your appliance pickup when you pay the $15.00 fee. Take your paid receipt to the Engineering Department, also on the top floor of City Hall. Curbside pickup of television sets costs $25.
The City of Hartford will not pickup pianos or hot tubs. They must be disposed of privately.
