Police School Liaison Program Made possible by a cooperative effort of the Hartford Police Department and the Hartford Public schools.
If you cannot reach the PSLO at one of the above phone numbers, and the matter is urgent, call the Hartford Police Department Communications Center at: (262) 673-2600 The Police School Liaison Program continues to be an important part of our department's efforts to serve our community. The Police School Liaison Officer (PSLO) is a patrol officer assigned to special duties specifically geared toward enforcement efforts and prevention in our schools, and with the youth of our community. The PSLO is occasionally called upon to do presentations for school children in the school setting, and works closely with the staff members to resolve issues that arise in the schools. The PSLO also frequently assists in the resolution of school related problems through counseling and the use of school imposed sanctions to address more minor issues. The PSLO works with school officials to maintain a safe learning environment for our children. |
